We work with public, private and fleet charging network operators to make EV charging reliable at scale.
The Role
We’re hiring our first dedicated Commercial Lead to work directly with the CEO and COO to build, execute, and refine our sales motion.
You’ll own opportunities from prospecting through to close, and stay involved post-sale to ensure successful pilots, deployments, and long-term customer value.
This is a hands-on role at an early-stage company. You’ll be expected to both close deals and help build how we sell, from process and pipeline structure to messaging, customer feedback, and go-to-market playbooks.
What You’ll Do
Own and grow strategic customer relationships

Build relationships with EV charging operators, fleets, infrastructure owners, utilities, and ecosystem partners

Identify and develop high-value target accounts across the EV charging and distributed energy ecosystem

Become a trusted commercial partner to customers from initial engagement through long-term expansion
Lead complex enterprise sales cycles

Own opportunities from prospecting and qualification through contract execution

Lead discovery, stakeholder alignment, negotiations, and deal progression

Manage proposals, pilots/POCs, and RFP responses

Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying environments with technical, operational, and commercial teams
Help define how Clockwork sells

Work directly with the founding team to shape and refine our go-to-market approach

Help define positioning, messaging, pricing, and enterprise sales strategy

Develop repeatable sales processes, playbooks, and customer engagement practices

Turn early customer wins into scalable reference accounts and expansion opportunities
Drive customer outcomes and market insight

Stay engaged post-sale to support successful pilots, deployments, and long-term customer value

Partner closely with Product and Marketing to bring customer feedback into the business

Help identify emerging market opportunities, customer needs, and partnership opportunities
Build operational discipline as we scale

Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, forecasting, and CRM hygiene

Help define qualification criteria, sales stages, and funnel KPIs

Bring structure, clarity, and execution to an evolving sales process in a fast-moving market
What We’re Looking For

3–7 years of experience in B2B sales, enterprise SaaS, infrastructure, energy, or technical sales

Experience owning complex sales cycles from prospecting through close

Strong relationship-builder who can earn trust with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders

Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where it doesn’t yet exist

Excited by early-stage environments where speed, ownership, and adaptability matter

Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Curious, resourceful, and commercially minded

Experience with EV charging, energy infrastructure, fleet electrification, utilities, or adjacent industries is a strong plus

Experience with pilots/POCs, enterprise procurement, and multi-stakeholder sales environments is highly valuable
