We didn’t come together to start a company. We came together to make a difference.
Each of us left great jobs and industries (as friends and family occasionally like to remind us) because we wanted to work on something that truly mattered—something that would have a real impact on sustainability and this planet we are grateful to live on. We come from years of experience in technology and infrastructure, and through our shared network, we found each other. A team with a common goal: use our skills to solve a problem worth solving.
As we spent time in the EV charging industry, the problem became painfully (and surprisingly) clear. The transition to electric vehicles (EVs) and more broadly distributed energy resources (DERs), is one of the most important shifts of our time—it’s critical to cutting carbon emissions and creating a more sustainable world. But the road to clean energy has a major obstacle: infrastructure that’s unreliable, unpredictable, and full of friction.
We’re serious about making EVs the future, and a driver’s ability to charge the first time they try isn’t optional—it’s everything. So, we built Clockwork to fix it. We help Charge Point Operators keep chargers running smoothly, reliably, and without the endless headaches.
